CHANGE SOMEONE'S LIFE
It’s never been more important to go pink, raise money and help make life-changing support possible for people affected by breast cancer. Give individuals and their families the assistance and care they need to focus on what matters most.
If there was ever a time to walk a pink path, grab that pink whisk or dig out that pink tutu, that time is now. People on the Sunshine Coast affected by breast cancer need us. They need you.
Our Sunshine Coast community has thought of some pretty amazing ways to raise money to support breast cancer patients. And they’re thinking of new ways every day. What will you choose to do?
Host or attend a pink event
Host a pink-themed party (real or virtual), morning tea, trivia night or other event to raise money for people affected by breast cancer.
Do you hold a regular movie night, book club, bingo game or mother’s group? Why not make the next one pink-themed? You could try charging a ticket price, selling pink food, or getting your hands on prizes to raffle off.
You could also attend one of the events listed on our site!
Wear Pink
Encourage your friends, family and colleagues to wear pink and make a donation at your next get-together (virtually if you have to!). Hold a best-dressed competition or make a rule that anyone who doesn’t wear pink has to donate extra.
Why not try getting everyone to sponsor you to wear nothing but pink for a whole week, or even a month!
Get active in pink
Shake up your next paddleboarding session, yoga class, workout group or sporting event with a pink twist.
Whether everyone wears a pink headband or wristband, or decks themselves out head-to-toe in pink, encourage your team mates to Get their Pink On and make a donation for doing so. You could also register for our Pink Paths Challenge or create your own active fundraiser - register here, start your page, call it what you like and share it with your mates.
It’s a great way to raise funds for those affected by breast cancers!
